Youth of all ages and their friends gather to learn about their faith, to serve in the community, and for fun activities throughout the year, all the while developing a deep sense of community.
Helping at the Drop-In Shelter
Caroling to shut-ins
Our high school youth plan to attend the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans in 2012
Confirmation classes help youth affirm their faith and claim the promises made on their behalf by their parents and godparents at their baptism.
We have a two-year program based on the curriculum Faith Inkubators and re:form. The first year classes focus on the Old and New Testaments, while the second year students Luther’s Small Catechism and explore themes of Christian living. Confirmation starts with youth in the sixth grade.
In addition to attending confirmation class, each confirmand creates a final project and participates in community service.
Confirmation classes meeting a bit earlier than the Sunday education hour, from 8:30-10:00 during the school year. Contact Pastor Peggy (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
